During the 66th Annual Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands, Asheville, North Carolina will come alive with traditional contemporary crafts featuring over 200 craftspeople filling both levels of the U.S. Cellular Center in downtown Asheville. Artists will be showcasing art of clay, fiber, glass, leather, metal, mixed media, natural materials and of course jewelry. The Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands is a platform for the rich talent, diversity and craft mastery of the Guild members.
Starting on Friday, mountain music will be played on the arena stage. Mountain music has become a part of the Craft Fair experience. There will also be demonstrations during the Fairs. The Guild's mission is to educate the public about wealth and history of crafts in the WNC region along with techniques, and the art of appreciation for fine crafts. It is a great event and we hope to see you there!
