What is Keum-boo?

Originating in Korea, Keum-boo is an ancient technique of fusing 22k gold to sterling silver.

What is gold vermeil?

Vermeil is a legal term for gold electroplated over sterling silver. Vermeil on our rings is 10 microns thick. All other pieces are 6-8 microns thick and we guarantee its wearability 100%.

What is oxidized silver?

Oxidized sterling silver is intentionally darkened silver made by tarnishing it in a controlled way to increase detail and the appearance of depth in design. The most popular way to oxidize is to expose the silver to a solution of liver of sulphur and water.

What is black rhodium?

Rhodium is an element that is rare, hard, and chemically inert and a member of the platinum group.

Does your jewelry contain any nickel?

We absolutely guarantee no nickel is used in any of our work.

Are the gemstones real?

Yes, all of our stones are real gemstones. Gemstones are identified in the description.

Do you do custom orders?

Q’s busy schedule precludes her from taking special orders, but if you see something you’d be interested in with a different stone for example, give us a call at the studio and perhaps we can help.

How soon will my order ship?

Most orders ship out within a week. However, some items are made to order and one of a kind and will have a longer turnaround. These items have a disclosure in the description.
