Edge Collection

The EDGE JEWELRY COLLECTION is hand fabricated from sterling sheet and wire. I use Sterling Silver, Oxidized Sterling Silver, 18K Vermeil, 22K Bi Metal, 18K Gold and Bezel set faceted stones. This collection was a departure for me. My jewelry pieces have always had a great deal of structure to them. Over the past several years, I have come to a place where I desire less structure, both in my work and life. However, I want to remain strong and adventurous. Journeys in my life seem to always bring the Inspiration that is a path to a new direction in my work. There I was, pondering my next foreign adventure, when I stumbled upon a most intriguing room divider at the Taj Hotel in the Maldives. It was asymmetrical, yet perfectly balanced. It had a strong structure, yet it was playful. I couldn’t wait to get back to my studio and translate this into metal. The expression in the EDGE JEWELRY COLLECTION is one of strong structure, but with a free sensuous, soft flow of metal weaving through.
