What does it say that we are approaching the end of February and I am just posting New Years greetings? For all of us, life is speeding by and weeks pass in a blur. That said, I am counting my blessings, sending New Years greetings and extending a massive Thank You to everyone who made 2011 such a great year.

In March we moved into our new home and studio. The ongoing process of putting it all together and setting up new systems continues. If anyone visits the Asheville area, please give us a call and come visit. The studio is nice but the view is one of the prettiest on the planet.

In 2011, I decided to go back to a wholesale based business. We picked up dozens of wonderful galleries and are really enjoying being back in that world. Please look at our Google Map and visit a gallery near you. We are adding new accounts monthly and it should be easy to find a place to see the new Jambalaya stone line.

And speaking of our new Google Map, our new website went live in the fall. It was designed by Jodi Hersh of Orange Star Design and we hear compliments weekly. She is now working on the wholesale order site and we should have that ready to go in a few months. (Hear that Jodi? :) ).

Our biggest event of the year was the Grand Central Holiday Fair. We began working on inventory in July and by November 14 we hit the ground running.

Those of you who know me are aware of my lifelong love affair with the Grand Central Terminal. I have simply loved her, (to me she is female), since I was a kid. To spend weeks doing the Fair in Vanderbilt Hall is such a gift. It doesn't hurt that sales were great and it is always New York at its best. But truly, not a day passes that I don't get excited about being in such a wonderful part of American history. If you are in NY, there are great walking tours of the building and you will never be disappointed.

So here we are pushing towards Spring and Asheville is having its first real snowstorm of the year. I am spending this snowy Sunday cocooning with keum boo and NPR. For this too, I am grateful.
