Silver Asymmetrical Opal and Tourmaline Earrings

One-of-a-kind, asymmetrical earrings are fresh and modern with a playful sense of movement reminiscent of the motion in an Alexander Calder mobile. The striking silver and multi color stone earrings add a pop of color and fashion-forward flair to any occasion. The combination of opal and tourmaline makes them a perfect choice for an October birthstone gift.

Q's mid century jewelry was inspired by artist Alexander Calder, an American sculptor known both for his innovative mobiles that embrace chance in their aesthetic, his static "stabiles", and his monumental public sculptures.

What are Herkimer Diamonds?
Herkimer diamonds are extremely unique quartz crystals with two naturally occurring 'faces' on both ends, known as double-terminated. They were discovered in and around Herkimer County, New York and the Mohawk River Valley. The "diamond" in their name is due to both their clarity and natural faceting.

Gemstone Meanings
Opal is an emotional stone that reflects the wearer's mood. It encourages both freedom and independence and stimulates originality and creativity. And, it's just gorgeous. Tourmaline is a stone that fosters compassion and cool headedness, healing and friendship.
